PICS for the OSI MHS 1988 RTSE Protocol
1 Introduction
To evaluate conformance of a particular implementation, it is necessary to have a
statement of which capabilities and options have been implemented for a given OSI
protocol. Such a statement is called a Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement
(PICS).
This PICS proforma has been developed in connection with the CTS/XMHS project,
which is concerned with the harmonization of Conformance Testing of the CCITT
X.400 and X.500 series of recommendations with their corresponding OSI Stacks, and
which is sponsored by the Commission of the European Community.
2 Scope
This document provides the PICS proforma for the RTSE protocol as specified in
CCITT X.228 in compliance with the relevant guidance, and in accordance with the
relevant guidance, given in ISO 9646-2.
