Tandem’s OSI/MHS product conforms to all mandatory requirements of the following
ISPs:

10611-2: ROSE, RTSE, ACSE, Presentation and Session Protocols for use by MHS
•
10611-3: AMH11—Message Transfer (P1)
•
10611-5: AMH13—MS Access (P7)
•
12062-1: IPM MHS Service Support (as applicable)
•
10262-2: AMH21—IPM Content (as applicable)
•
12062-3: AMH22—IPM Requirements for Message Transfer (P1)
•
12063-1: EDI MHS Service Support (as applicable)
•

PICS for the OSI/MHS EDI Messaging System
Tandem OSI/MHS supports the X.435 content type for enhanced support of X.400/EDI
integration.
All data elements are supported:
•
for submission and delivery through the message store.
•
for relay between message transfer agents (MTAs).
Additionally, the OSI/MHS Gateway Programmatic Interface (GPI) supports X.435.
GPI makes available all X.435 fields to a GPI application by conforming to the X.400
API Association (XAPIA) standard for EDI support. This is called the “XAPIA EDI
Messaging Package” of X.435 data objects.
