Connection Establishment
Primitive Function
T-CONNECT.REQUEST A calling transport service user indicates that it wants to
establish a connection.
T-ATTACH * A called transport service user indicates that it is waiting for
an incoming connection.
T-CONNECT.INDICATION A called transport service user is notified that connection
establishment is in progress.
T-CONNECT.RESPONSE A called transport service user indicates that it will honor the
request.
T-CONNECT.CONFIRMATION A calling transport service user is notified that the connection
has been established.
Data Transfer
Primitive Function
T-DATA.REQUEST A sending transport service user sends data.
T-DATA.INDICATION A receiving transport service user is notified that data can be
read from the connection.
T-EXPEDITED
DATA.REQUEST
A sending transport service user sends expedited data.
T-EXPEDITED
DATA.INDICATION
A receiving transport service user is notified that expedited
data can be read from the connection.
Connection Release

T-DISCONNECT.REQUEST A transport service user indicates that the connection is to
be closed.
T-DISCONNECT.INDICATION A transport service user is notified that the connection is
closed.
