What Objects Are Defined Within Each Type?
Displaying the Names of PROCESS Objects
You can display the names of all the PROCESS objects in your subsystem, or of selected
types of PROCESS objects.
Use the following command to display the names of all the PROCESS objects defined
for an OSI/AS subsystem. This command returns the same process information as
returned by the NAMES $OSIM command; specifying NAMES PROCESS simply
limits the amount of information displayed. The following command displays the
PROCESS object names as they are defined through the OSI manager process:
NAMES PROCESS $OSIM.*.*
Use the following command to display the names of all PROCESS objects of a certain
type—for example, all TAPS processes:
NAMES PROCESS $OSIM.#TAPS.*
Displaying the Names of SU Objects
The OSI/AS subsystem has three types of subdevices: the subdevice configured by the
TAPS process, which is associated with the subdevice configured by the TSP process,
which, in turn, is associated with the subdevice configured by the NSP process.
You can display the names of subdevices associated with OSI/AS subsystem processes.
SCF provides different ways to retrieve this information:
•
To display only the names of subdevices associated with a specific TAPS or TSP
process, use the NAMES SU command. For this command, you must refer to the
process directly, by its Guardian process name. For example:
NAMES SU $TAPS1.*
NAMES SU $TSP1.*
