Troubleshooting Example
The SCF command
info entry $omgr.#snpa.02,detail
displays the following:
This screen shows the name of the profile used to configure the NSAP. You need to
check the values of this Layer 3 profile.
The SCF command
info profile $omgr.#L3.nspx252,detail
displays the following:
Notice that X25DESTADDR is set to 408333222203 but that a previous screen showed
the NSAP set to 408333222202. This, perhaps, is the problem. Although the NSAP is a
logical address and X25DESTADDR is a physical SNPA address, the two values are
roughly the same. However, just to be on the safe side, you should set them to the same
value.
Step 7: Correct the Problem
Now that you know what the problem is, you need to correct it. You could alter the
NSAP, but that might affect other connections using that NSAP. You really need to alter
X25DESTADDR using the following SCF command:
alter profile $omgr.#l3.nspx252, x25destaddr "408333222202"
You might also want to use one of the following SCF commands to verify the new
remote DTE address:
INFO SU $TSP1.#Z000022
INFO LINE $X25, DETAIL
