056785 Tandem Computers Incorporated 5–147
a ZOS4-EVT-L3-THLD event message whenever the counter value is nonzero
and dividing the counter value by the threshold value leaves a remainder of
zero. This field is applicable only if ZESIS-ENABLE is set to ZSPI-VAL-TRUE.
The values range from 0 through 65535. If the threshold is set to 0, L3-THLD
event messages are never generated for this counter.
ZX25DISCONN-DELAY
is the amount of time the TSP process should wait on an idle (unused) X.25
network connection before issuing a network disconnect request. This timer
should be kept as short as possible, because the number of X.25 virtual circuits
in use increases with the number of open network connections. The waiting
time is expressed in hundredths of a second (0.01 seconds per increment). The
values range from 0 (immediate disconnect request) through 30000 (300
seconds).
ZX25NCON-MULTIPLEX
is the maximum number of outgoing transport connections to be multiplexed
on a network connection. This field applies only to protocol class 2, 3, or 4
communication over a connection-mode network service (CONS; X.25 is an
example). The values range from 1 through 512.
Note that the actual decision for multiplexing an outgoing transport
connection on an existing network connection depends on two Layer 4
PROFILE or SERVICE attributes: ZCLASS and ZMULTIPLEX. Two or more
transport connections can be multiplexed if they all have the same local and
remote NSAP addresses; have ZCLASS set to 2, 3, or 4; and have
ZMULTIPLEX set to ZSPI-VAL-TRUE.
ZX25CUG-TYPE
specifies the type of closed user group (CUG) facility. This attribute is used
only for X.25 networks. The possible values are:
Value Meaning
ZOSI-VAL-X25CUG-TYPE-BASIC Basic CUG format
ZOSI-VAL-X25CUG-TYPE-EXT Extended CUG format
ZOSI-VAL-X25CUG-TYPE-BASICOA Basic CUG format with outgoing access
ZOSI-VAL-X25CUG-TYPE-EXTOA Extended CUG format with outgoing access
ZX25BCUG
specifies the bilateral closed user group ID sent in every call-request packet.
This attribute is used only for X.25 networks. The value is an integer from 0
through 9999.
ZX25RPOA
specifies the Recognized Private Operating Agency (RPOA) transit network(s)
in the facility field of a call-request packet. This attribute is used only for X.25
