ALTER SERVICE #L3 Command
X25DESTADDR
specifies the network address that is used as the called address in an outgoing call-
request packet. This attribute is used only for X.25 networks.
This attribute is required when the SU initiates connections.
RESET returns this attribute to the default value provided by OSIMGR.
X25DISCONNECTDELAY
specifies the amount of time to wait before issuing a network disconnect request on
an idle (unused) X.25 network connection. The number of X.25 virtual circuits in
use increases with the number of open network connections, so this timer should be
kept as short as possible to avoid resource problems. This attribute is used only for
X.25 networks.
X25NCONMULTIPLEX
specifies the maximum number of outgoing transport connections that can be
multiplexed on a single network connection. The actual decision for multiplexing a
network connection depends on the values of the CLASS, NETTYPE, and
MULTIPLEX attributes for the SERVICE #L4 object. A transport connection can be
multiplexed if the transport protocol class is 2, 3, or 4 and if two or more subdevices
have MULTIPLEX ON and have the same local or remote NSAPs. This attribute is
used only for X.25 networks.
