Considerations for the CHECK Command
The considerations contain information about command use that should be read before
studying the command syntax in too much detail.
ENTRY Object
The object-spec may only specify a calling #APPL name. Use the CONNECT
modifier to specify a called #APPL name.
Wildcards are supported for the CHECK ENTRY command with the PROFILES
option, but not with the CONNECT option.
When using the CONNECT modifier-spec, if the called #APPL requests loopback
(LOOPBACK attribute is ON), the display will not provide information below
Layer 5.
Note. If loopback is in effect, the TSP: and NSP: lines will be replaced by the following line:
Loopback: su-name.
Depending on the state of the TSP SU and the error situation, the NSP LINE information might
or might not be available for display. If the information is not available, the following line will be
displayed:
NSP: Not Available
