FILTER Command
RESET
resets the filter-options to the default setting as follows:
SU [ su-name ]
displays the trace information for the specified SU. su-name is any valid ACSE,
L6, L5, or L4 subdevice name. If you omit su-name, you select all ACSE, L6, L5,
and L4 subdevices. The subdevice name you specify in SU will automatically be set
in ACSESU, L6SU, L5SU, and L4SU. The default is SU (display all SUs).
MSGSU [ su-name ]
specifies formatting of messages to and from the specified SU. If you omit su-
name, you select all SUs. MSGSU, by default, selects all SUs.
[NO]BER
translates the user data portions of trace records into a more readable format using
the Basic Encoding Rules (BER). For example, HEX 37 would instead be displayed
as u-c-17 which means Universal/constructed/tag 17. Use BER to enhance the
displays of user data, for example, in L6 provider or L5 event trace records. The
default is NOBER.
[NO]ASN1DEC
specifies formatting of ASN.1 decoder trace information. This includes the
following trace records:
ASN.1—ACSE Decode
ASN.1—L6 Decode
When ASN1DEC is in effect, it also displays additional information in some L6
trace records. NOASN1DEC suppresses the formatting of this information. The
default is NOASN1DEC.
