IO Request

Receive Tag
shows the message tag of the associated request message.
Sync ID
shows the sync ID of the associated request message. The file-system generates sync
IDs. Sync IDs prevent duplication of requests in I/O operations. For further
information on sync IDs, see the Guardian 90 Operating System Programmer’s
Guide.
Length
shows the write-count parameter of the Guardian REPLYX call. This is the size in
bytes of the message data.
FE
shows the error-return parameter of Guardian REPLYX call. This is a file-system
error. For possible values, see the System Procedure Errors and Messages Manual.
Status
shows the status of the request message. The possible values are
Queued Reqs
shows the number of times the Guardian READUPDATEX procedure has been
called less the number of times the Guardian REPLYX procedure has been called.
IO Request
This trace record is for Compaq internal use and indicates an I/O was performed on an
open file.
