Supported Commands and Object Types
Table 2-1 on page 2-2 lists the SCF commands and object types supported by the
OSI/AS subsystem through the OSI manager and TAPS processes. Commands can also
be directed to OSI/TS transport service provider (TSP) processes, and to X25AM,
TCP/IP, or TLAM (for D-series releaes) or PAM (for G06 and above releases) NSP
processes indirectly through the OSI Manager process.
This manual describes the SCF commands that are interpreted specifically for the
OSI/AS subsystem. Other commands that are generally supported by SCF, such as the
ASSUME and ENV commands, are not documented in this manual. See Appendix E,
OSI/AS SCF Command Support, for a list of all the SCF commands that can be issued
to the OSI/AS subsystem. The Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) Reference Manual (for
D-series releases) and the SCF Reference Manual for G-Series Releases provide general
information about SCF commands, and you should be familiar with that information
before reading the OSI/AS subsystem-specific information provided here.
Note. Table 2-1 on page 2-2 does not describe commands supported by the OSI/TS, X25AM,
TCP/IP, and TLAM or PAM subsystems. Such commands are covered in the SCF reference
manuals or configuration and management manuals for those subsystems. The titles of the
manuals are listed in About This Manual
