L5 PROVL5 Issue Write Expedited
Tag
an internal field that shows the type of write being initialized. The possible values
are
DCB Addr
an internal field that shows the address of the buffer containing the data being
written to a transport subdevice.
Write Count
shows the number of bytes written.
FS Error
shows the Guardian file-system error returned initiating the write.
L5 PROV—L5 Issue Write Expedited
This trace record shows the result of initiating a write to the transport expedited data
flow. Session uses this facility, if available, for sending Prepare (PR) SPDUs and Abort
(AB) SPDUs. Prepare and Abort are SPDUs of less than 16 bytes and in the case of PR-
SPDUs are followed by a write of a second SPDU for which the prepare was an early
warning.
Completion of an expedited data flow write does not cause a reply to be sent to the
service user—completion of the second SPDU write does that.
