L5 PROV—L5 I/O Completion Continuation
Another example of an L5 I/O Completion record follows. It shows the completion of a
read of part of an SPDU. It is not possible to predict from this record whether the data
will be combined into a larger buffer or sent directly to the L5 service user.
Subtype
L5 I/O Completion
SU Name
shows the name by which APS knows this connection.
Session ID
an internal field that shows a sequence number that is assigned to the connection by
this TAPS process.
File ID
an internal field that shows the TAPS file control block ID.
Tag
an internal field that shows the type of I/O that is completing. The possible values
are

%H0001 more-data
Note: If this is a read completion and if the incoming TSDU contains
part of a DT or TD SPDU, the TSDU data will be sent to the session
service user in fragments as it is read from transport. If the TSDU
contains a different type of SPDU, the whole SPDU will be read in and
assembled before being passed to the session service user. %H0001 is
also set when writing part of a larger TSDU.
