INFO PROFILE Errors
The following table lists the most common errors that can occur during the processing of
the INFO PROFILE command:
For more information on errors specific to FTAM (OSIFTAM errors having positive
error numbers), see Appendix C, SCF Error Messages for the FTAM Subsystem
. For
more information on common SCF error messages (errors having negative error
numbers), see the Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) Reference Manual (for D-series
releases) or the SCF Reference Manual for G-Series Releases.
INFO PROFILE Example
The following command displays information on the VFS profile named VFS1:
INFO PROFILE \MARS.$AMGR.#VFS.VFS1
The display returned depends on whether the VFS1 profile has been configured with a
common name or with an OSI address. This command returns the following display
screen if a common name has been configured for the profile VFS1:
Message Definition
Expecting an existing SCF supported
object name or the character “(“
No APLMGR process by the specified name
could be found. To display valid APLMGR
process names, use the following command:
LISTDEV OSIAPLMG
OSIAPLMG E-00017 Object
object-name not found
The profile-name specified was not
recognized by the APLMGR process as a
registered profile name. To display the
currently registered profile names, use the
following NAMES command:
NAMES PROFILE $appl-mgr-name.*
OSIAPLMG E-00019 Invalid object
name: object-name
You have specified an incorrect name format.
Either you specified a process-name when
specifying the alternate collector, or you
specified an incorrect profile type.
To specify the alternate collector, use:
$name.#FTC
