LISTOPENS PROCESS Display Format (Initiator or
Responder)
Backup Opener PID
is the process ID of the process that has a backup open against the process. In this
version of Tandem FTAM, this field always contains NONE.
FNUM
is the file number associated with the opener of a process.
Reqs
is the number of current I/O requests outstanding for a given opener.
LISTOPENS PROCESS Display Format (Initiator or Responder)
The LISTOPENS PROCESS display has the following format for an initiator or a
responder process:
The following field displays information that is not directly configurable using SCF
object attributes:
Openers
are the system and process names of processes that have opened a specified initiator,
or responder process. If an opener process is not named, its process ID is substituted
for the process name.
The other fields in this screen display are the same as for the APLMGR process,
described under LISTOPENS PROCESS Display Format (APLMGR)
on page 3-51.
LISTOPENS PROCESS Considerations
When the LISTOPENS command is directed to initiator and responder processes, at
least two openers appear in the display: the APLMGR process and either $ZNET or the
SCP started by SCF if $ZNET is not running. Application processes, if any, that have
opened FTAM initiators are also displayed.
When the LISTOPENS command is directed to an APLMGR process on the initiator
side, the display contains at least one opener—the $ZNET (SCP) process—and any
application processes for which an association is active.
When the LISTOPENS command is directed to an APLMGR process on the responder
side, only one opener appears in the display—the $ZNET (SCP) process.
