NAMES null Display Format (Initiator or Responder)
For an initiator or a responder process, the NAMES null display shows the name of the
process and the names of the subdevices associated with the process:

Omit the null object specification, and omit the object type, when issuing this
command.
•
Names of subdevices are not displayed when you issue the NAMES command to an
APLMGR process. To obtain subdevice names, you must issue the NAMES
command directly to each initiator or responder process.
NAMES null Errors
The following table lists the most common errors that can occur during the processing of
the NAMES null command:

Expecting an existing SCF supported object
name or the character “(”
No process by the specified name could be
found.
To display valid APLMGR process names,
use the following command:
LISTDEV OSIAPLMG
To display valid initiator and responder
process names, use the following command:
LISTDEV OSIFTAM
To display valid initiator names only, use the
following command:
LISTDEV TYPE 55, 21
To display valid responder names only use
the following command:
LISTDEV TYPE 55, 25
