STATS PROCESS
STATS PROCESS
The STATS PROCESS command displays accumulated statistics for the specified
APLMGR, initiator, or responder process. STATS PROCESS is a sensitive command if
RESET is specified.
The STATS PROCESS command has the following syntax:
\system-name
identifies the system in which the specified process is running.
$appl-mgr-name
identifies the APLMGR process from which you are requesting statistics.
$process-name
identifies the initiator or responder process from which you are requesting statistics.
RESET
resets all statistical counters shown in the STATS PROCESS display.
STATS PROCESS Display Format
When the STATS PROCESS command is issued, the specified process collects statistical
data and displays it as shown below. The same display is returned for APLMGR,
initiator, and responder processes except that for an APLMGR process, the top line
displays OSIAPLMG instead of OSIFTAM and $appl-mgr-name instead of
$process-name.
If the RESET option is specified, the process first collects and displays the statistical
information, then resets the Open Control Block, Request Control Block, and File
System Request counters to zero and updates the reset time.
STATS PROCESS [\system-name.]{$appl-mgr-name } [ , RESET ]
{$process-name }
Note. The STATS PROCESS command displays the counters before they are reset to 0. To
see the cleared counters, you must issue a second STATS PROCESS command. However,
because that second command causes a call to DeviceInfo and Writeread, those counters will
read at least 1 instead of 0.
