STATUS PROCESS Examples
The following command displays the status of the APLMGR process named $AMGR on
the \MARS system:
STATUS PROCESS \MARS.$AMGR
The following display is returned:
This display shows, for example, that $AMGR is running in CPUs 1 and 2, that five
opens to $AMGR currently exist, that new opens are allowed, and that trace data is not
being collected by $AMGR.
You can view the detailed status of the FTAM responder process named FTR1 through
its manager process $AMGR by issuing the following command:
STATUS PROCESS \MARS.$AMGR.#FTAMR.FTR1, DETAIL
The following display is returned if the Trace option is ON for this responder:
This display shows, for example, that the responder process is in the STARTED state;
that this process is owned by user ID (50,255); and that all possible types of FTAM trace
data are being collected in the file \MARS.$DATA.TEST.TRACE. Note that the USER
option, which is invalid for responder processes, is not a selected trace option.
