STATUS SU Display Format
STATUS SU Display Format
The STATUS SU display without the DETAIL option has the following format for either
an FTAM initiator or an FTAM responder subdevice:
The following fields display information that is not directly configurable using SCF
object attributes:
Name
is the name of the subdevice and associated FTAM process.
State
is the current state of the subdevice: STARTED.
Opens
is the current number of opens for a specified subdevice.
For initiator subdevices, this value is always 1, since an initiator subdevice is created
only when an application needs to use it. In this version of Tandem FTAM, this
value is always 0 for responder subdevices. For responder subdevices, this value is 0
if it represents a pending attach and is not yet servicing an incoming association, or
1 if it is currently servicing an association. Each initiator or responder subdevice can
service only one association.
Error
is the last detected error code for the specified subdevice. This code may be a
positive or negative number.
For initiator subdevices, this value is an APS or FTAM initiator error code returned
to the application by the initiator; see the Tandem OSI/FTAM Programming
Reference Manual for information on the error.
For responder subdevices, this value is an APS error code returned to the responder
by the TAPS process; see the Tandem OSI/AS Programming Reference Manual for
information on the error.
Error-Sub
is the subcode of the last detected error for the specified subdevice. This code may
be a negative number.
For more information on the error subcode, look up the error code in the Tandem
OSI/AS Programming Reference Manual.
