STOPOPENS PROCESS
STOPOPENS PROCESS
The STOPOPENS PROCESS command configures an FTAM initiator process to reject
open requests from applications. This is a sensitive command.
The STOPOPENS PROCESS command has the following syntax:
\system-name
identifies the system in which the specified process is running.
indirect-process-name
identifies, through its APLMGR process, the initiator process you wish to prevent
from receiving additional open requests.
$process-name
is the Guardian process name of the initiator that you wish to prevent from receiving
additional open requests.
STOPOPENS PROCESS Considerations
•
If you specify indirect-process-name, the command is sent to the
APLMGR process, which in turn routes it to the specified initiator process. If you
specify $process-name, the command goes directly to the specified initiator.
•
The STOPOPENS PROCESS command is not valid for a responder process. If the
command is issued for a responder, the command is rejected and an error is
returned.
•
The STOPOPENS PROCESS command is not valid for an APLMGR process. If the
command is issued for an APLMGR process, the command is rejected and an error
is returned.
•
To configure the initiator process to accept open requests, use the ALLOWOPENS
PROCESS command.
