TRACE PROCESS
PROV
specifies tracing of all application and presentation protocol data units
of the provider interface. This keyword applies only when tracing an
initiator or a responder process.
SM
specifies tracing of protocol state-machine information. This keyword
applies only when tracing an initiator or a responder process.
SYSMSG
specifies tracing of system messages. This keyword applies when
tracing all processes—initiator, responder, and APLMGR.
USER
specifies tracing of requests to the initiator from the FTAM
programmatic interface. This keyword applies only when tracing an
initiator process.
TO filename
specifies the file to receive the trace information; the file must be on the
same system as the process being traced.
SCF purges any data in an existing file before starting a new trace to that
file. If the file you name does not exist, the system creates a file with a size
of 100 pages for the primary extent and 20 pages for each secondary extent.
WRAP
specifies that, when the trace disk file end-of-file (EOF) is reached, trace
data wraps around to the beginning of the file and overwrites earlier data.
