VERSION null

The VERSION null command displays information on product numbers and release

dates for the specified APLMGR, initiator, or responder process. VERSION null is a

nonsensitive command.

The VERSION null command does not contain null in the command string. It has the

following syntax:

\system-name

identifies the system in which the specified process is running.

$appl-mgr-name

identifies the APLMGR process for which you are requesting version information.

$process-name

identifies the initiator or responder process for which you are requesting version

information.

DETAIL

specifies that the display is to include additional detailed information.

VERSION null Display Format (APLMGR)

For an APLMGR process, the VERSION null command without the DETAIL option

returns the following product version banner:

VERSION [\system-name.]{$appl-mgr-name } {$process-name }
