Omit the null object specification, and omit the object type, when issuing this command.

The following table lists the most common errors that can occur during the processing of
the VERSION null command:

VERSION null Examples
The following example displays the product version banner for the APLMGR process
named $AMGR on the \MARS system:
VERSION \MARS.$AMGR
The following display is returned:
The display shows that $AMGR is associated with an APLMGR subsystem
(OSIAPLMG); that the product number for this APLMGR is T6981, version D43; that
the D43 release date was May 26, 1998; and that the QA-OK date was July 26, 1998.
