Trace Record Header
Trace Record Header
Each trace record displayed is preceded by a header line of the following format, as
shown in the following example:
DateStamp
is the date on which this trace record was captured.
TimeStamp
is the time at which this trace record was captured.
DeltaTime
is the amount of time, in microseconds, that has passed since the previous trace
record was captured. If the time reaches 999.999999 seconds or greater, then
999.999999 is displayed. The delta time is 0 for the first record and for any record
having a timestamp earlier than the previous record displayed.
TraceRecordNumber
is the number of the trace record. Trace record numbers are generated sequentially
beginning at 1. However, record numbers in the actual trace file might not start at 1
if the WRAP option was turned on when the trace was made. The WRAP option
causes records to wrap around; the first records in the file are overwritten if the trace
becomes full. This means that the oldest data is overwritten first.
Type
is the type of information contained in the record. See Table 5-2 on page 5-7 for
record type identifiers.
