USER Event
The following trace record displays the information the initiator returns to the user
application. The initiator generates this trace record immediately after it receives the
event. Asterisks denote additional information that is displayed when the PTrace
DETAIL option is on.
SU Name
is the initiator subdevice for the association.
Event Code
is a numeric code and text string that identifies the procedure that has been called.
See the Tandem OSI/FTAM Programming Reference Manual for
ZFTM-VAL-EVT-xxx values.
Status Code
is the status returned to the user application by the initiator. See the Tandem
OSI/FTAM Programming Reference Manual for possible status code values.
Interface Version
is the version number of the system library procedures. In this version of Tandem
FTAM, the value of this field is always 0.
ASI Length
is the length of the additional service information (ASI) record, in bytes.
ASI Data
is the ASI data, which is a series of parameters. ASI is an internal format that
includes a tag, length of data, contents of data, and a character representation of the
hexadecimal values for each parameter in this field. This field displays protocol
information and parameters sent via an API procedure call and other FTAM
parameters.
Note that the ASI data format is intended for Tandem internal use and is not part of
the OSI standards.
