DSM Perform SPI Request
DSM Perform SPI Request
The following trace record is generated after a SPI request has been decoded and
immediately prior to the performance of the SPI request.
For example, when the SCF command INFO PROCESS $QFTIE is issued as the
$QFTIE process is being traced, the following trace record is generated:
INFO PROCESS
is the SPI command that was issued.
$QFTIE
is the initiator or responder process that was specified in the SPI command.
(3,17)
is an integer pair that Tandem uses internally and is reserved for the programmatic
management interface.

INFO PROCESS $QFTIE (3,17)
Note. If you include a system name in a command, such as an INFO PROCESS command,
SCF correctly parses that system name. However, SCF does not put the system name into the
SPI buffer. Therefore, when a process is traced, the trace collector only includes the process
name, not the system name, as reflected in the PTrace display.
