MSG I/O Request

The following trace record is generated by the APLMGR, initiator, or responder process

immediately after an I/O operation is initiated.

Req Type

is the type of I/O request, where the following procedure values are possible:

ReadUpdateX

ReadX

ReplyX

WriteX

WriteReadX

is the file number on which the I/O request was initiated.

Tag

is the tag that identifies the I/O request.

ReadCount

is the number of bytes to be read in the I/O operation.

WriteCount

is the number of bytes to be written in the I/O operation.

is the file-system error returned by the procedure that initiates the I/O request.
