SUBSYS Object
SUBSYS Object
The SUBSYS object is used to modify and view the configuration of a subsystem. SCF
commands paired with the SUBSYS object are directed to the APLMGR process. The
object is identified with an APLMGR process.
Naming Conventions for the SUBSYS Object
To issue an SCF command to the SUBSYS object, specify the command, followed by
the SUBSYS specification and the name of the APLMGR process:
command SUBSYS [\system-name.]$appl-mgr-name
system-name identifies the system in which the APLMGR process is
running.
appl-mgr-name identifies the APLMGR process that implements the
SUBSYS object. appl-mgr-name is a valid Guardian process name.
You can apply the INFO command to the FTAM environment managed by $AMGR on
the \MARS system as follows:
INFO SUBSYS \MARS.$AMGR
Object State for the SUBSYS Object
The SUBSYS object has one state: DEFINED. This state is achieved whenever the
APLMGR process is running and is displayed by the STATUS SUBSYS command.
