Changing SUBSYS Object Attributes
Changing SUBSYS Object Attributes
When you install APLMGR, default values are automatically set for all SUBSYS
attributes to provide an initial configuration. In most instances, these defaults will not be
appropriate for your installation. In addition to the attributes you modified before you
started the APLMGR process, you may need to modify some other SUBSYS attribute
values.
Viewing the Default Configuration
Look at the values assigned to the SUBSYS object attributes. After viewing the
configuration, you can identify which attribute values you can change to tailor the
subsystem configuration to meet your individual system needs.
Issue the SCF INFO SUBSYS command to the APLMGR process to view the values for
APLMGR subsystem attributes. In Example FTAM Configuration
on page 3-38, you can
view the configuration of the APLMGR named $AMGR by issuing the following
command:
INFO SUBSYS $AMGR, DETAIL
If you issue the INFO SUBSYS command before you have made any changes to the
configuration through SCF, the command returns a display listing the attribute default
values set for the subsystem at installation. Note that this display does not represent all
entities presented in Figure 3-4
on page 3-8, because the values for those entities have
not yet been changed to reflect the Example FTAM Configuration on page 3-38.
