FTAM Management Environment
This section describes the three Distributed Systems Management (DSM) tools you can

Distributed Systems Management (DSM) Tools
Distributed Systems Management (DSM) is a set of tools for managing and monitoring
Tandem communications products. Figure 2-1 on page 2-2 shows the DSM tools for
managing Tandem FTAM through the management interface: the Subsystem Control
Facility (SCF), the Event Management Service (EMS), and the PTrace (print trace)
utility.
