PROCESS Objects
Table 2-9 describes the attributes used by APLMGR in managing the initiators and
responders.
Use these attributes with the SCF ADD and ALTER commands to configure FTAM
initiator and responder processes. The RUN-option attributes listed in Table 2-8
on
page 2-18 can be set or changed only when the affected process is in the STOPPED
state; the attributes listed in Table 2-9
on page 2-19 can be set or changed when the
process is in either the STOPPED or the SUSPENDED state. FTAM Configuration
Attributes on page 3-1 discusses how you can configure these PROCESS attributes for
your Tandem FTAM installation.
Note that you cannot configure PROCESS attributes for the APLMGR process using
SCF. The APLMGR process is created using the TACL RUN command. Attributes such
as the processors on which the primary and backup processes run and the execution
priority of the APLMGR process are specified directly as run options in the RUN
command.
