Checking Association Status
TAPS SU
identifies the TAPS subdevice used for the association. (Remember that the TAPS
process is part of OSI/AS.)
FTAM Functional Units Selected
displays the functional units negotiated for the association between the calling and
responding entities.
You can use the information in this display to troubleshoot your application in the
following ways:
•
For association problems, you can check the remote addressing information to
determine if the association has been made to the remote resource.
•
After establishing an association, you can use this screen to check the negotiated
functional units, although your application is also notified of any negotiation in
functional units.
