File Attributes
FTAM, this attribute is set to the value of the current-initiator-identity activity attribute.
You cannot use the change-attribute action to change this attribute.
Identity-of-last-modifier. The identity-of-last-modifier attribute identifies the entity that
last modified the file. The responder updates this attribute whenever the file is closed
after it has been opened for modification or extension. If the last modification is
performed through FTAM, this attribute is set to the value of the current-initiator-identity
activity attribute when the file is closed. You cannot use the change-attribute action to
change this attribute. The NonStop FTAM initiator supports this attribute, although the
NonStop responder does not.
Identity-of-last-reader. The identity-of-last-reader attribute identifies the entity that last
read the file. The responder updates this attribute whenever the file is closed after it
has been opened for reading. If the last read action is performed through FTAM, this
attribute is set to the value of the current-initiator-identity activity attribute when the file
is closed. You cannot use the change-attribute action to change this attribute. The
NonStop FTAM initiator supports this attribute, although the NonStop responder does
not.
Identity-of-last-attribute-modifier. The identity-of-last-attribute-modifier attribute
identifies the entity that last modified a file attribute. The responder updates this
attribute whenever the change-attribute action is successfully performed on one or
more attributes. If the last attribute modification is performed through FTAM, this
attribute is set to the value of current-initiator-identity. You cannot use the
change-attribute action to change this attribute.
File-availability. The file-availability attribute specifies whether delay should be
expected before the file can be opened. The attribute value is set at file creation and
changed by the change-attribute action. The value can be either “immediate
availability” or “deferred availability.”
Filesize. The responder updates the filesize attribute whenever the file is closed after
having been opened for modification or extension. The attribute value is set to the size
in octets (bytes) of the complete file when the file is closed. You cannot use the
change-attribute action to change this attribute.
Future-filesize. The future-filesize attribute specifies the size in octets to which the file
can grow as a result of modification or extension. The attribute is set when the file is
created and changed by the change-attribute action. When the value of the filesize
attribute attains the value of the future-filesize attribute, the responder can do one of
the following, depending on the implementation:
•
Increase the value of the future-filesize attribute
•
Increase the value of the future-filesize attribute and give a warning
•
Not increase the value of the future-filesize attribute and return an error
