Subsystem List Screen
The middle section of the screen allows you to filter PDUs in the subsystem. The pop-up
menu under “Select Class/Group:” allows you to choose from among all the classes and
groups configured for the OSI/MHS subsystem. The checkboxes and radio buttons
under “Select State:” allow you to further filter PDUs in a particular state. Click on the
“List PDUs” button to return the list of subsystem PDUs matching the class/group and
state filter criteria you selected.
To return the field values to their default settings, click on the “Reset Form” button.
For more information about the options available on the subsystem filter screen, see the
online help text included with the AU user interface.
Subsystem List Screen
The subsystem list screen displays a list of subsystem PDUs that meet the filter criteria
selected on the subsystem filter screen. This screen displays the following information
for each PDU:
If it is available, the MPDU ID (which includes the country name and, optionally, the
ADMD, PRMD, and a unique identifier) appears under the PDU ID.
Each PDU ID in the list contains a link, which, when selected, brings up the PDU
options screen for that PDU. See PDU Options Screen
on page 3-8 for details about the
PDU options screen.
The subsystem list screen also allows you to delete groups of PDUs by clicking on the
“Delete” button located at the bottom of the screen. Note that the “Delete” button only
appears if one or more bad PDUs are listed. When you click on the “Delete” button, all
the PDUs matching the selected state option in the adjacent pop-up menu are deleted.
The deletion of a PDU causes the PDU to be removed from the OSI/MHS PDU store,
and no further processing is performed on the PDU. In addition, an Event Management
Service (EMS) event is generated for each PDU deleted.
You may only delete PDUs that are in one of the bad states described later in this
subsection. The following options are available for deleting PDUs in the subsystem list:
•
Undecoded PDUs
•
Unrouteable PDUs
•
Inactive PDUs
•
Invalid-MS PDUs
PDU-ID The PDU ID in component form.
SIZE The size of the PDU in bytes.
STATE The current state of the PDU.
#LOGS The number of log records in the PDU.
CREATE-TIME The date and time the PDU was created internally by OSI/MHS.
CLASS/GROUP The OSI/MHS class and group in which the PDU is located.
