CLASS Objects
Naming CLASS Objects
A CLASS object name has the form:
system
is the name of the system (node) that runs the MHS manager process for this
OSI/MHS subsystem.
manager-process
is the name you have given the MHS manager process (the MON object). This
name must be a letter followed by zero through three alphanumeric characters.
class
is the name used to distinguish this CLASS object from all the other objects in this
OSI/MHS subsystem, and in particular from the other CLASS objects.
If your MHS manager process is called $ZMHS, you could choose these five names for
the five CLASS objects that can be defined in OSI/MHS:
$ZMHS.#GI
$ZMHS.#LO
$ZMHS.#MR
$ZMHS.#MS
$ZMHS.#RS
The first class would include all the GI groups, the second all the LO groups, the third
all the MR groups, the fourth all the MS groups, and the fifth all the RS groups. You
specify a class name in the ADD command for the CLASS object.
