SCF Commands for PROCESS Objects
You can direct any of the following SCF commands to the OSI/MHS PROCESS object
specified or assumed in the command:
Examples of Commands for PROCESS Objects
The following are examples of commands for PROCESS objects.
NAMES Displays the names of some or all PROCESS objects in this OSI/MHS
subsystem.
When used for the PROCESS object type, this command never displays
names for any other object type, because a PROCESS object has no
subordinate objects.
STATS Displays accumulated statistics for the PROCESS object specified (or
assumed) in the command.
This command resets the statistics counters if you include the RESET
option.
Before you direct this command to a PROCESS object, make sure the
GROUP that contains it is in the STARTED state; otherwise, the
command will fail with an error message.
The process type determines which statistics are displayed. For
example, for MS groups, some of the information would be:
UAs
UAs
MTA
UA
logged on
logged off
delivered
submitted
Note. The command STATS PROCESS for an SC process does not display any statistics.
STATUS Displays the operational status of the PROCESS object.
Before you direct this command to a PROCESS, make sure the group
that contains it is in the STARTED state; otherwise, the command will fail
with an error message.
TRACE Controls the generation of trace records, which can help debug the
PROCESS object.
Before you direct this command to a PROCESS, make sure the group
that contains it is in the STARTED state; otherwise, the command will fail
with an error message.
