Installing Your OSI/MHS Subsystem
This section explains how to install OSI/MHS, either as a new product or as an
upgrade from a previous version. This section covers the following topics:

Other Prerequisite Products
OSI/MHS relies on several other products to be installed and configured. For example,
you need the following:
A network access method (X25AM, PAM delivered with G06 and later RVUs or
TCP/IP running over one or more of these).
OSI/TS and OSI/AS.
The Transaction Management Facility (TMF).
If you have message stores, either the complete NonStop SQL product or the
partial NonStop SQL product provided with OSI/MHS.
In general, the manuals that support these products describe how to install them and to
complete their configuration. However, if you plan to use partial NonStop SQL, you
can disregard much of the description in the NonStop SQL Installation and
Management Manual. The Install program places the necessary SQL files on an ISV;
you need only start TMF and create the SQL catalog, as follows:
