APPL (MS) Object
•
ORG-NAME (ORG)—specifies the name of the node where a Transfer gateway
user resides. In this example, the node name for MTA1 is NEWYORK, and for
MTA3, the node name is BOSTON. The node name for the general gateway user
defined by MTA1 is FAX.
APPL (MS) Object
The message-store APPL object attributes used in these examples are:
•
ACCESS-TYPE (ACC-TYPE)—specifies the access type, which is MS for an APPL
object in an MS group.
•
ACCESS-NAME (ACC-NAME)—specifies the name of the MS group to which this
APPL is attached.
•
USER-PASSWORD (PASSWORD)—specifies the password that the user
represented by this APPL object must know to gain access to this OSI/MHS
subsystem.
An APPL object includes the originator/recipient (O/R name) of the user that the APPL
represents. The O/R name is a set of attributes that uniquely identifies that user.
There are several forms of O/R name; this example uses the mnemonic form defined
in the X.411 standard:
•
ORG-NAME (ORG)—specifies the name of the organization to which the user
belongs. There are three organizations in this network: Sales for MTA1, Shipping
for MTA2, and Manufacturing for MTA3.
•
ORG-UNIT-1 (ORG1)—specifies the name of the organizational-unit to which the
user belongs.
•
SUR-NAME (SURNAME)—specifies the last name of the user.
•
GIVEN-NAME —specifies the first name of the user.
CLASS Object
The CLASS object name must be #GI, #LO, #MR, #MS, or #RS. Some CLASS
attributes apply to just one of the five classes. The CLASS attribute used in this
example applies only to the MR class:
•
CLEANER-INTERVAL (CLEAN)—sets the time, in minutes, that elapses between
cleanings of an MR PDU store by its store cleaner process.
CUG Object
The CUG object attributes used in these examples are:
•
CONTENT-TYPE-CHECK—specifies whether content type checks are performed
for this closed user group.
