Configuring MTA3
OSI/AS and OSI/TS configuration file. This file contains the OSI addresses for
MTA2. It also defines the connections to network services, such as PAM (delivered
with G06 and later RVUs), and X.25. Appendix A, Examples of Configuration
Files, contains the SCF command file needed to configure OSI/AS and OSI/TS for
MTA2. It also includes an overview of the OSI addresses for MTA2.
Configuring MTA3
MTA3 has four MR groups connected to the OSI/AS services by two OSI addresses. It
has four MS groups and two RS groups. The RS groups are connected to OSI/AS by
a single OSI address. MTA3 has a Transfer X400 gateway. Figure 5-5 shows the
topology and major components of the MTA3 configuration.
The major features of this configuration are:
Four MR groups share two OSI addresses to receive association requests from
adjacent MTAs. This is a multigroup configuration.
