Verifying the APPL, MTA, and ROUTE Objects
This shows that RSGRP1, RSGRP3, and RSGRP4 are in the STARTED state.
To see if there are any RS groups in the STOPPED state, enter:
STATUS GROUP $MHS1.#RS.*, SUB ALL, SEL STOPPED
If there are any RS groups in the STOPPED state, a display similar to the following
appears.
This shows that RSGRP2 is in the STOPPED state.
Verifying the APPL, MTA, and ROUTE Objects
The objects that represent the information flow through the subsystem are the APPL,
MTA, and ROUTE objects. You monitor these objects to verify that the correct
attributes have been defined. When you add these objects, you are adding information
to the configuration. (Remember that if you add, delete, or alter these objects
interactively, you must update the MHS configuration file. If you add an MTA object,
you must also update the OSI configuration file with the correct addresses.)
STATUS APPL Command
The APPL object has a state associated with it. To check the status of an APPL object,
enter:
STATUS APPL $MHS1.*
-> status group $mhs1.#rs.*, sub all, sel stopped
MHS Detailed status GROUP RS.\COMM2.RSGRP2
State............. STOPPED
