Verifying the APPL, MTA, and ROUTE Objects
This command displays the status of all the APPL objects in the subsystem.
The $MHS1 subsystem has five APPL objects defined. Four are MS APPL objects
and one is a gateway APPL object. All are in the STARTED state and none of the
APPL objects are logged on.
Logged-On is relevant only for an MS user. It means that the user has an association
with the OSI/MHS subsystem.
INFO MTA and NAMES MTA Commands
An MTA object represents an adjacent MTA to an OSI/MHS subsystem. A ROUTE
object defines the paths for a user or set of users to an adjacent MTA.
The MTA and ROUTE objects do not have states associated with them; therefore, you
cannot execute a STATUS command on these objects. You could enter an INFO
command or a NAMES command, as follows:
INFO MTA $MHS1.*
NAMES MTA $MHS1.*
-> status appl $mhs1.*
