Managing your OSI/MHS subsystem is an ongoing task. You need to:

Maintain your configuration file and your current configuration so they are always
the same.
•
Make regular backups of your databases and follow the TMF procedures. Back up
the message-store PDU and SQL databases at the same time to keep the backups
consistent.
•
Monitor the objects to determine the status of the subsystem.
•
Examine OSI addresses in MR and RS groups to maintain the OSI connections.
•
Verify that MTA objects have the correct local and remote OSI addresses defined.
•
Display current and saved EMS event messages and create event filters.
