Interconnection Problems With Other MTAs
REM-P-SELECTOR-n MTA Value must match a value of MR-P-
SELECTOR on responder side.
REM-S-SELECTOR-n MTA Value must match a value of MR-S-
SELECTOR on responder side.
REM-T-SELECTOR-n MTA Value must match a value of MR-T-
SELECTOR on responder side. Must also
match local OSI/AS ENTRY #TSEL.
REM-NSAP-n MTA Value must match a value of MR-NSAP on
responder side and be consistent with local
OSI/AS ENTRY #NSAP and possibly #SNPA
and/or L3PROFILE. Special considerations
apply to X.25 1980.
CHECKPOINT-SIZE MR class Negotiated down between the two sides.
WINDOW-SIZE MR class Negotiated down between the two sides.
APPLICN-CONTEXT MTA Value must match responder’s value.
DIALOGUE-MODE MTA Value must be MONOLOGUE.

request from the initiator.
REM-LOGON-VALIDATION MTA Value must match responder’s value.
PASSW-SERVER MTA If value is ON, a valid name must be
specified for MTA-BIND-PW-SVR; value need
not be the same in initiator and responder.
MTA-BIND-PW-SVR SUBSYS Specified only if PASSW-SVR is ON.
REM-MTA-NAME MTA Value must match MTA-NAME on initiator
side.
REM-P-SELECTOR-n MTA Responder must have value to match LOC-
P-SELECTOR on initiator side.
REM-S-SELECTOR-n MTA Responder must have value to match LOC-
S-SELECTOR on initiator side.
