Event-Message Sequences for Common MHS
Functions
6. Event message 47 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MS-OPERATION) indicates that an MS
Submit operation was performed: that the LUA submitted the X.400 message to
OSI/MHS for routing and, in this case, deferred delivery. (This event message
reports the result of the MS operation; the submission and deferral actually
occurred before event 11.)
7. Event message 43 (ZMHS-EVT-LOS-ASSOC-END) indicates that the LUA closed
the association.
8. Event message 47 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MS-OPERATION) indicates that an MS
Unbind operation was performed when the association was closed.
9. Event message 44 (ZMHS-ACCT-MRP-ROUTE) indicates that, after the requested
deferral interval, the router has identified the recipient to whom the message must
be sent and has queued the message for the association manager.
10. Event message 36 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-RTS-TRANSFER) indicates that the RTS
process transferred the message to an adjacent MTA. (In this example, an existing
association was used.)
11. Event message 7 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MSG) indicates that the message was
relayed and provides summary information about the report.
12. Event message 8 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-RECIP-INFO) provides information about the
recipient to whom the message was relayed.
You can use the following common tokens to correlate the events related to this
transaction:
•
Event messages 41, 42, 11, and 7 include the O/R name of the APPL from whom
the message was received (represented by tokens with names of the form ZMHS-
TKN-OR-nnnn).
•
Event messages 47, 11, 44, and 7 include the PDU ID of the incoming message
(ZMHS-TKN-MS-OPER-ARG-PDUID in message 47, ZMHS-TKN-PDUID in
message 11, and ZMHS-TKN-ORIG-PDUID in messages 7 and 44).
•
Event messages 11, 44, 7, and 8 include the message identifier (X.400 MPDU ID)
of the message, represented by tokens with names of the form ZMHS-TKN-MID-
nnnn.
•
Event messages 11, 44, and 8 include the O/R name of the recipient, represented
by tokens with names of the form (ZMHS-TKN-OR-nnnn).
•
Event messages 7 and 36 include the PDU ID of the outgoing message (ZMHS-
TKN-PDUID).
