9. Event message 8 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-RECIP-INFO) occurs three times, once for
each member of the distribution list. Each instance of the message provides
information about a different recipient.
You can use the following common tokens to correlate the events related to this
transaction:
•
All these event messages include the same message identifier (X.400 MPDU ID),
represented by tokens with names of the form ZMHS-TKN-MID-nnnn).
•
Event messages 44 and 8 contain the O/R name of the recipient, represented by
tokens with names of the form ZMHS-TKN-OR-nnnn). In this case, one pair of
messages identifies the individual recipient, and the other pair identifies the
distribution list.
•
The instances of event message 7 pertaining to the distribution list (items 5 and 8
above) contain the originator’s O/R name (in tokens of the form ZMHS-TKN-OR-
nnnn) and the PDU ID of the message containing the expanded distribution list.
The instance of event message 7 pertaining to the individual recipient has a
different PDUID.

Event message 44 includes the DSM object name (ZCOM-TKN-OBJNAME) of the
recipient. The instances pertaining to individual recipients include the APPL object
names of the recipients; the instance pertaining to the distribution list includes the
DLIST object name.

Figure 9-10 illustrates the steps taken when an OSI/MHS delivers a probe to a
gateway and returns a report to the originator. The numbers on the figure represent
the event messages in the order in which they are produced; the description after the
figure gives the actual event numbers.
