Event-Message Sequences for Common MHS
Functions
1. Event message 38 (ZMHS-EVT-ROS-ASSOC-OP) indicates that the RS process
accepted an association from an RUA.
2. Event message 47 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MS-OPERATION) indicates that an MS
Bind operation was performed and that the MS process responded to the RS
process.
3. Event message 39 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-ROS-TRANSFER) occurs twice, once to
indicate that the RS process received a request from the RUA, and once to
indicate that the RS process responded.
4. Event message 47 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MS-OPERATION) indicates that an MS
Fetch operation was performed and the MS process responded to the RS process.
5. Event message 39 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-ROS-TRANSFER) indicates that the RS
process received another request from the RUA.
6. Event message 10 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-STORE) occurs once for each message
deleted from the message store. It signifies, in each case, that the message has
been deleted.
7. Event message 39 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-ROS-TRANSFER) indicates that the RS
process responded to the delete request.
8. Event message 47 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MS-OPERATION) indicates that an MS
Delete operation was performed, and the MS process responded to the RS
process. This message is produced after the fact; event message 10 signified the
actual deletion.
9. Event message 40 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-ROS-ASSOC-END) indicates that the RUA
closed the association.
10. Event message 47 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MS-OPERATION) indicates that an MS
Unbind operation was performed.
11. Event message 46 (ZMHS-EVT-ACCT-MS-SUMMARY) provides summary
information about the message-store operations performed during the association.
You can use the following common tokens to correlate the events related to this
transaction:

All these event messages include the APPL O/R name of the user who owns the
mailbox, represented by tokens with names of the form ZMHS-TKN-OR-nnnn.
•
Event messages 38, 39 (all instances), and 40 include the same association
identifier (ZMHS-TKN-ASSOC-ID).
