Message Flow Through the Transfer X400 Gateway
When you send a message from Transfer to OSI/MHS, the following actions occur:
1. The item ID of the outgoing message goes to an entry manager process from the
Transfer subsystem.
2. The entry manager process makes a queue entry of the work request.
3. The exporter receives the work request from the entry manager.
4. The exporter contacts the database server to read the Transfer message.
5. The exporter builds the corresponding message in the PDU store.
6. The exporter tells the MR process that the message is ready for transfer.
