ZCMK Definitions

The OSI/MHS subsystem is based on a common implementation of the SPI common

extensions. This implementation uses definitions whose names begin with ZCMK.

These definitions are provided in the ZSPIDEF.ZCMKDDL file and in corresponding

files for other languages and are described in the SPI Common Extensions Manual.

OSI Definitions

Definitions whose names begin with ZOSI are OSI definitions. These definitions

consist of simple tokens used in OSI/MHS commands and responses. They are provided

in the ZSPIDEF.ZOSIDDL file and in the corresponding files for other languages.

The OSI definition that is used in several commands defined by the OSI/MHS

subsystem is ZOSI-MGR.

Information specific to a particular command is discussed in the individual command

descriptions in Section 5, Commands and Responses

OSI/MHS Definitions

Definitions whose names begin with ZMHS are OSI/MHS definitions. These definitions

consist of simple tokens and extensible structured tokens used in OSI/MHS commands

and responses. They are provided in the ZSPIDEF.ZMHSDDL file and in the

corresponding files for other languages.

Information specific to a particular command, response, or event message is discussed in

the individual command and event-message descriptions in Section 5, Commands and

Responses, and Section 6, Event Messages. Section B, Token Codes and Token Maps,

provides a complete list of all OSI/MHS simple and extensible structured tokens and

gives the token type or token map name for each.

Extensible Structures

Table 4-12 lists the extensible structures defined by the OSI/MHS subsystem. These

structures are defined under the individual command descriptions in Section 5,

Commands and Responses, and in Section 7, Password Server Interfaces.
