ADD MTA
ZITS-LOGON-RSP
is the password expected from the adjacent MTA in a bind confirmation. This is
the password an adjacent MTA must provide in response to our attempt to
access it. If ZVALIDATION-REQUIRED is ZMHS-VAL-FLAG-ON, this field
is required. A null password can be specified using the asterisk (*) character; in
this case, any password received from the adjacent MTA is accepted as valid.
The SPI-NULL value for this field is 0. ZITS-LOGON-RSP contains:
ZLENGTH
is the length of the logon password in bytes. This value is in the range
1 through 62, or -1 to indicate not used.
ZSTRING
is the logon password.
ZPASSW-SERVER
determines if a separate password server process is used to generate and validate
passwords for this remote MTA. The default value for ZPASSW-SERVER is
ZMHS-VAL-FLAG-OFF. If ZPASSW-SERVER is on, then ZOUR-LOGON,
ZITS-LOGON, ZOUR-LOGON-RSP and ZITS-LOGON-RSP must not be
specified; the ADD SUBSYS attribute, ZMTA-PSWD-SVR, should be
specified; and ZVALIDATION-REQUIRED must be off.
ZLOGONS-VALID
is used on an INFO MTA command to indicate if the passwords are valid or are
filled with asterisks. This command is ignored on an ADD MTA command.
ZABS-SYNTAX-ID
defines the abstract syntax identifier to be used in the open request during an
association establishment with this adjacent MTA when ZAPPLIC-CONTEXT
is ZMHS-VAL-APPLIC-CONTEXT-T. The possible values are:
ZMHS-VAL-ABS-SYNTAX-ID-MTARTSE
ZMHS-VAL-ABS-SYNTAX-ID-MTSRTSE
The default is ZMHS-VAL-ABS-SYNTAX-ID-MTARTSE.
ZMSG-THRUPUT
defines the MTA’s message throughput rate in bytes per second. The range of
values is 1 through 32676. The default value is 120.
ZMSG-OVERHEAD
defines the time, in seconds, between completion of data transfer and
completion of message acceptance. The range of values is 1 through 32676.
The default value is 180.
