OSI/MHS Commands
The NULL object type does not correspond to any actual object, but is used in
commands that allow you to obtain information about all of the objects in a subsystem.
OSI/MHS Commands
Your management application can perform the following functions by sending
commands to the OSI/MHS subsystem:
•
Add the SUBSYS object, applications, classes, groups, MTAs, routes, closed user
groups, distribution lists, and gateways to an OSI/MHS subsystem
•
Delete the SUBSYS object, applications, classes, groups, MTAs, routes, closed user
groups, distribution lists, and gateways from an OSI/MHS subsystem
•
Change certain characteristics, or attributes, of the subsystem and its manager
process, applications, classes, groups, MTAs, routes, closed user groups, distribution
lists, and gateways
•
Obtain information about the current attributes of the subsystem and its manager
process, applications, classes, groups, MTAs, routes, closed user groups, distribution
lists, and gateways
•
Obtain a list of the currently-defined subsystem objects of a given type or a list of
those subordinate to a specified process
•
Start and stop the subsystem and its processes, applications, classes, and groups
•
Stop the MHS manager
•
Suspend and reactivate MHS applications
•
Obtain information about the OPENs of the MHS manager
